Bourbon Blondie Pecan Pie Sundae
I made a crazy, Texas-themed sundae. I found an ice cream flavor called “Bourbon Maple Blondie.” As you know, anything bourbon makes me all fuzzy and warm inside. Then I topped it with some ingredients, including pecan pie tart. <drool>
The Bourbon Maple Blondie ice cream is a Signature Reserve™ brand I found at my local Randalls in Texas. If you want to try the flavor and don’t have access to Randalls, don’t fret, my pet. You can also find them exclusively at all Albertsons, Safeway, ACME Markets, Jewel-Osco, Vons, Pavilions, Tom Thumb, Shaw’s, Star Market, and Carrs/Safeway.
Visit randalls.com to find a store near you and discover more recipe ideas.
Pick up the Bourbon Maple Blondie, or one of the other flavors, and enjoy it right out of the carton. Just like I did, for my bourbon blondie pecan pie sundae.
Ingredients for Bourbon Blondie Pecan Pie Sundae
To begin your bourbon blondie pecan pie sundae, churn out a couple of scoops and place back on top of ice cream in the pint container. These will be your mountains for your toppings. Place back in freezer.
Melt two vanilla Tootsie Rolls in the microwave for about eight seconds. Roll between your hands and form into deer antler shapes. To celebrate Southern lifestyle and this Southern/Texas collection of flavors. Push each one into the ice cream.
Cut a small piece off of a mini pecan pie and press into ice cream, behind the antlers.
When ready to serve, sprinkle with candied pecans, and drizzle a little bourbon caramel.
Your bourbon blondie pecan pie sundae is complete.
No bowl required.
