Whiskey Marshmallows for Independence Day
Whiskey Marshmallows
Everyone knows that Independence Day is my favorite holiday. It’s when the cheesiness of US America reaaaallly comes out. I have no restraint when joining in.
Sharks. Red, white, and blue. Ridiculous bikini and accessories. Bask in the glory that is the USA.
Not to mention how we love putting alcohol in everything. So why not “enhance” one of the greatest American summertime desserts with a little hootch? That’s just what I did. I picked red, white and blue star marshmallows for my s’mores. Whiskified them, then toasted them.

To make your whiskey marshmallows, place marshmallows in small jars.
Fill jars with whiskey and place in refrigerator, allowing to soak for about 4 hours.
Remove marshmallows from whiskey and sit on a paper towel to absorb excess liquor.
Place marshmallow on a skewer and lightly toast with a kitchen torch. Allow whiskey marshmallows to drip liquor burning off. Place on top of melted white chocolate on a cinnamon graham cracker.
Whiskey makes it all better.
