Thanksgiving Pumpkin Flavored Bark
Pumpkin Flavored Bark for Thanksgiving
This is nothing new or innovative, but it sure is damn cute.
Being that I prefer to give credit for recipes when it is not my original creation, I have provided a link at the bottom of the post for a bark recipe that is somewhat similar. That one’s cute too.
Every chick in the US loves it, so here is some pumpkin flavored bark. No really, though, this candy bark is super fun as a last-minute gift for Thanksgiving, as a way to use leftover Halloween candy, or for an activity with family and friends on Thanksgiving day. It is kid-friendly to make, with a little adult assistance. Just let them go to town decorating with various treats.
Ingredients for Autumn Pumpkin Flavored Bark Recipe
– Pumpkin flavored candy melts
– Chocolate and yellow candy melts
– Any of your favorite leftover Halloween candy
Make mini chocolate pilgrim hats first by melting yellow candy melts. Dip the large end of mini peanut butter cups into the candy melts, then place on a small chocolate candy melt as the base of the hat. Use a toothpick to dab a yellow square for the buckle of the hat.
Line a square baking pan with aluminum foil and spray with vegetable spray. For the base of your pumpkin flavored bark, pour pumpkin candy melts and pour into pan. Drizzle some chocolate, then use a knife to create swirls in the bark.
Press different treats, including the mini pilgrim hats, into the melted chocolate. You can follow the ingredient list or use any ideas of your own.
