Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sunglasses. RIP Regular Chocolate Covered Pretzels, You’re So Boring.
Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sunglasses. RIP Regular Chocolate Covered Pretzels, You’re So Boring.
Here I go again, trying to make everything I eat as cute as a basket of puppies. Excuse my Turkish but, damnnnnnnn these little edible chocolate covered pretzel sunglasses are f***ing cute. Not cute if you wear them at night, FYI.
Wearing sunglasses are like a magic wand. They make you 67% more physically attractive. Unless it’s between sunset and sunrise then it renders you 167% douchey.
These chocolate covered pretzel sunglasses are so adorable (during the day) you just might not be able to bear the thought of eating them. Make them for birthday parties, cookouts, 4th of July, or anything Hollywood theme (because we know actors love wearing sunglasses 24/7).
Ingredients for Chocolate Covered Pretzel Sunglasses
Colorful candy melts
Star sprinkles
Black royal icing or icing gel
Pretzel Crisps
Tools
Condiment or piping bottle
Wax paper or aluminum foil
Begin your chocolate covered pretzel sunglasses by melting any color of candy melt. Fill a piping bottle with melted chocolate. Pipe out two half circles on a Pretzel Crisp. Once slightly cooled, pipe a line around the circles, then a line along the top of both across the Pretzel Crisp to create a more 3-dimensional look.
Next, pipe out two lines, curving at the end for the temple frame. Make certain that the length works with size of the Pretzel Crisps. Use chocolate to adhere two stars to the eye portion of the frame.
Use black glitter icing gel or black royal icing to fill sunglasses frames. Allow to sit and firm up a bit.
Once fully firm, dip the end of each temple portion and adhere to the eye frame to construct the sunglasses. Hold in place until hardened.
Either serve the chocolate covered pretzel sunglasses as is or place on top of cupcakes for cupcake toppers.
I wear my chocolate covered pretzel sunglasses at night
So I can, So I can
Watch you weave then breathe your story lines
And I wear my chocolate covered pretzel sunglasses at night
So I can, So I can
Keep track of the visions in my eyes
.. See? Creepy as f****.
