Snowman Rolo Pretzels

Take your Rolo and Pretzel treats up a notch by creating little snowman faces. This is a great recipe for crafters, and those who like to make something a little impressive. Serve at parties or wrap up in cellophane bags as a gift.

 

 

Ingredients

Rolos or Hershey KissesOriginal Pretzel Crisps

Miniature Peanut Butter Cups

Colorful luster or pearl dustClear liquor or flavor extractOrange candy meltsChocolateCookies and cream round candies (or any white, round candy)

Cut a thin strip out of sour belt that is about the diameter of your white round candy. You can snip up the end with clean scissors to give it more of a “scarf” look. Set to the side.

 

Melt orange candy melts and use a toothpick to draw carrot triangle nose on round, white candy. Repeat the same with regular chocolate for dotting the eyes and mouth. Set to the side.

Slice a white candy melt and a miniature peanut butter cup in half. Mix luster or pearl dust with a drop or alcohol (or flavor extract), then paint with a food safe paint brush onto candy melt and peanut butter cup.

 

Place Pretzel Crisps onto a lined baking sheet. Top with Rolos or Hershey Kisses. Bake in oven at 250 for a couple of minutes, or until chocolates start to shine and soften.

Remove from oven. Lightly press in miniature peanut buttercup, white candy melt, snowman head, and sour belt scarf. Allow to cool and harden. Serve.
