This slow cooker buffalo chicken is SO easy. It is only four ingredients and can be anywhere from low carb to strict keto! Slow cooker buffalo chicken works for meal planning and make ahead.

 

Ingredients for Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken. A Keto Friendly Recipe.

2 Tablespoon butter

3 boneless chicken breasts

1 cup bottle buffalo wing sauce

1 Tablespoon ranch mix seasoning

Note: If you are strict keto, you may need to make the seasoning and check ingredients in hot sauce (or make that from scratch as well).

 

 

Begin your slow cooker buffalo chicken, by turning the slow cooker on to low.
Spray inside of slow cooker with avocado or olive oil spray.

Place butter, hot sauce, chicken breasts, and seasoning into pot and stir.

Cover crock pot and cook for six hours.

I like to eat on a burger, topped with blue cheese, blue cheese dressing, and green onions. This is a nice low carb meal. I eat half of the portion pictured, with a side of vegetables. If you want a strict keto version, make sure to make your own blue cheese dressing, use grass fed beef for the burger, and a low carb hot sauce with the proper ingredients (no sugar or starches added for thickening).

Since the slow cooker buffalo chicken stores and heats up well, I like to have it for snacks. Use same toppings and scoop into celery sticks.
