Recipe for bright red, heart ice cubes for Valentine's Day. No mold or ice cube tray needed! They are flavored, so add to soda, sparkling wine or champagne!
Ingredients
  • Red Budget Saver Twin Pops
  • Any clear soda, champagne or sparkling wine
Instructions
  1. Place parchment/wax paper on a plate and place in the freezer to cool.
  2. Remove a red Budget Saver Twin Pop and slice into two different popsicles.
  3. Cut the ends off of each popsicle. Slice it at a sharp angle so when you connect both tips at the slices, it will form a heart shape.
  4. Remove cooled plate from freezer and add a couple of drops of water. Place the connected slices on top of the water quickly. The two halves should freeze together almost immediately. Place in freezer and allow to freeze more.
  5. Once set, serve in a glass of soda water, sprite, sparkling wine, or champagne.
